New Live-DVD: "Rock am Ring 2004 LIVE" since September 20th!

It's not quite three months since the Hosen appeared at Germany’s biggest open air festival, and already the DVD "Rock am Ring 2004 LIVE" is at the ready. For this DVD, a new, optimised cut - as compared to the original MTV live screening - was produced.

The DVD extends to a playing time of 150 minutes (live concert 123 minutes plus 27 minutes bonus features). Three new songs from the Hosen repertoire are to be found exclusively on this DVD! They are the cover versions "Song 2" and "Mad World" plus the new track "Alles wird vorübergehen" (all things will pass), which will be on the new album "Zurück zum Glück". The bonus material is another highlight, offering an insight into the rock’n’roll circus and a glimpse behind the scenes of the world of the Toten Hosen.

Campino: "The Toten Hosen and 'Rock am Ring': this is a love story that has been going on for years. Whenever we were there, we had spectacular gigs with wild parties before and afterwards. The atmosphere was always fantastic, no matter whether the rain was pouring down or the sun was shining. Be it a Magical Mystery Gig on the parking lot, dance interludes on the stage rooftop, broken ribs, torn crucial ligaments, waking up in tents or hotel rooms that weren’t ours...we had it all."

An announcement for the sound experts among you: the complete concert was re-mastered in dts 5.1, Dolby Digital 5.1, and Dolby Digital 2.0 (stereo), but without overdubs! What you hear on the DVD is the original, pure live sound, with no additional improvements made.
