Leipzig - Conne Island
After the two platinum-awarded albums of 2002 and the extensive "Auswärtsspiel"-tour, the Hosen took the first months of the year off, trying to relax. But after a while, this became too boring for the five-some. So, in the spring, they started to have a closer look at the rehearsal room from the inside again, writing new songs for the next album. And in the autumn, Campino, Andi, Breiti, Kuddel and Vom finally got back on stage!
Buenos Aires
As a warm-up, two club gigs were played in Leipzig that didn't leave one dry bone, and then they were off once more to their second home, Buenos Aires, where they played three shows. It seemed as if fans in the capitol of Argentina had only waited for this moment: The Hosen played their first living room gig on South American ground; played their first sold-out show in the legendary "Luna Park", the biggest venue in town - and let all hell loose at the Quilmes-Rock-Festival held next to the River-Plate-Stadion.
Buenos Aires
While the Argentinian Rolling Stone voted this show in Buenos Aires to be "Concert of the Year," no lesser than Germany's prestigious paper Süddeutsche Zeitung tried to formulate the special relationship between the Hosen and their Argentinian fans: "After all, this is a case of cultural exchange. Surely, the lyrics by 'Los Hosen' are better known to the youths of Argentina than the works of Goethe or Thomas Mann. There is even a local cover band to ensure the texts are spread."

And in the face of these enormous experiences made in South America, the band made a vital decision when they got back to Düsseldorf: the Hosen went to the studio because they wanted to record whatever would come up. Campino: "We simply recorded everything we were trying out in the rehearsal room. And I just have this feeling inside me that now is not the time for contemplation." Four tracks were written that went straight to hell. In February 2004, they were to be released on a 12"...
