Rock in the Park, on the Parking and on the Ring
04.06.-06.06.2004
Our highlight of the festival summer 2004: Vom was elected "Mr. Thousand Stages" during the
"Rock im Park" and "Rock am Ring" concerts; we already appeared Saturday night, on the parking
lot of the Nürburgring; and apart from drumming legend Wölli and Kuddel's son Tim two more guest
musicians collaborated on stage.

FRIDAY: Friday evening, at 21:00 hrs on the spot, we were on stage of
the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. First, we went to see great bands such as
Bad Religion and Beatsteaks on the “Alternastage”, and this
served as inspiration for us to rock the “Centerstage”. And
even though from that minute on it rained non-stop for one and a
half hours, the audience showed maximum staying power and they were celebrating
a great
party that we very happily joined in. |

GUEST APPEARANCES: Vom lost while playing Kikcer with Jan-Dirk of the
Donots during “Rockim Park”, so he had to play drums live on
stage to their track “Superhero”. But that was by far not his
only guest appearance during this weekend: twice he was shoved onstage
to help out with the Beatsteak’s “Kings Od Metal” because
no-one in the audience could be convinced to come up and play. So, he truly
earned his new nickname “Mr. Thousand Stages”! And he is seriously
considering extending his calling card and adding “Dial A Drummer”.
Campino (and guitar roadie Kathleen) watched the spectacle from the edge
of the stage. |

SATURDAY: To everybody’s surprise, we appeared at the Nürburgring
one day earlier, because we wanted to warm up a little bit. And when the Red
Hot Chili Peppers, headliners of the evening, had finished their show, we entered
a truck on the parking area, which bordered just on the camp site. Whoever
had hoped for a peaceful night in the tent, had to think again... |
