Tour diary Eastern Europe 30.05.-02.06.2004

Our favourite alternative to South America: during our tour of Eastern Europe 2004, we played club gigs in Bulgaria, Serbia, and Croatia and checked out all the things you can buy on the flea market in Sofia, but this time we unfortunately had to miss out on our obligatory sightseeing tour.

Tour diary Eastern Europe

INBETWEEN: Campino used the only bit of sunshine to relax outside, while Breiti and Kuddel passed the time with extreme sport: Backgammon. Taking our last drink before going on stage in the Bulgarian club “O!Shipka”, we couldn’t have imagined that the people would be singing the lyrics every single song. Once again, we were taught better...
BELGRADE/SERBIA: Our supporting band in Belgrade was called “Atheist Rap” (from Novi Sad). Fatally, they had brought us a bottle of home-made slivovitz. We would now like to express them our thanks once again: guys, this “Southern Madness” worked perfectly! ZAGREB/CROATIA: What impressed us most of all during our tour of Eastern Europe was the huge amount of German fans who turned up during the show. After all, a 26-hours drive for only one way is no chickenfeed. We hope, that everyone managed to get home safe w-i-t-h their cars! By the way, Andi survived this stop at the Croatian “Grill-Peka” without diarrhoea, so the final gig in “Morchava” club could take place...
TOUR-HOT-SHOT:, The people who run the club where we played in Belgrade had painted this huge billboard with the motive of our current tour themselves. Our respect for this oeuvre!
