3. DTH Fan Cup 28.06.2003 Aderstedt, near Halberstadt

The way we spend the summer when there's no festival to play: in 2003, we climbed our crew bus and went to Aderstedt near Halberstedt, where the 3rd DTH fan football championship was held. It was a big surprise, when, instead of the announced JKP team, suddenly the complete band stood on the field.

3. DTH Fan Cup

ADDED PLAY TIME: First, the DTH Fan Cup regular band Fro-Tee-Slips took care of the evening’s musical entertainment, but then we couldn’t be kept from doing as they did – since there were instruments lying around – why not?! One band and approximately 100 fans sang together “Wir haben den Pokal” (we got the cup) to the melody of “Steh auf (wenn Du am Boden liegst)”.

THE DAY AFTER: We had already returned back home to Düsseldorf in our team bus, but some had evidently forgotten to depart from Aderstedt. As we have heard, most of the cup’s players did not only suffer from aching muscles when they woke up on Sunday morning...
