3. DTH Fan Cup 28.06.2003 Aderstedt, near Halberstadt

The way we spend the summer when there's no festival to play: in 2003, we climbed our crew bus and went to Aderstedt near Halberstedt, where the 3rd DTH fan football championship was held. It was a big surprise, when, instead of the announced JKP team, suddenly the complete band stood on the field.

3. DTH Fan Cup

GETTING THERE: Who ever said that away games are easy? On our way to the match, our team bus already got stranded in the middle of nowhere – while searching for the location where the third DTH Fan Cup was to take place: Aderstedt near Halberstadt!!! Even our GPS system was at a loss and kept trying to direct us to a town of the same name which was 50 kilometres away.
ALONGSIDE THE FIELD (1) :At 2 p.m. we finally arrived and saw various teams engaged in strange warm-up exercises. Of course people alongside the field were immediately talking shop. There was only one question left unanswered: Who the hell is Stanimirovic?
ALONGSIDE THE FIELD (2): Since we had come with plenty of substitutes, we didn’t have to worry much about the “Hot Battle of Halberstadt”. For every player sweating on the field, one sat or stood outside, practising goal cheers and drinking the necessary electrolyte drinks...
