Away game in Argentina: in Buenos Aires, we met the Argentine Hosen cover band "Opelgang"; played our first living room gig on Argentine ground; and were lucky to experience two unforgettable shows in the sold-out "Luna Park" and at the "Quilmes Rock 2003" festival, held next to the River Plate Stadium.

The arrival in Buenos Aires, or: "back to concrete". Of course, football-hero Diego Armando Maradona crossed our paths wherever we went (even in the most absurd forms), and of course, security chief Manfred Meyer was only happy when he was finally served his first steak.
Before their first concert in Buenos Aires in nearly a year, the Hosen were invited to a local music channel, where Campino was happy to show around the poster for "Reich & Sexy II". But one member of the band was definitely more popular: Breiti. Those who know the guitar player as a more deliberate speaker would have been amazed to see the Spanish words come gushing out of him...
The Hosen cover-band "Opelgang". One of the travel companions describes the event: "I stood in the CBGBs in Buenos Aires with Uli Hiemer (former German ice hockey legend), drank beer from 0.96 litre (two pints) plastic cups and watched an Argentinean band cover the Hosen". And all of it is true! When the Hosen found out that the band "Opelgang" was going to play on stage, of course they went to have a look. And it didn't take long before Andi, Kuddel, and Vom were recruited as guest musicians...
